Fall prevention support

Exo Motion may form part of a broader mobility confidence conversation, but fall prevention requires proper assessment, supervision and professional guidance.

Aged-care information is for provider, family and participant assessment. It is not medical advice and does not replace OT, physiotherapy, clinical or funding-pathway review.

Use careful language

Exo Motion should not be described as a guaranteed fall prevention solution. It is a wearable walking assistance device that may support confidence and fatigue management for suitable users as part of a wider plan.

Assessment matters

Falls risk depends on strength, balance, cognition, medications, home layout, footwear, supervision and health status. Providers, OTs and physiotherapists should be involved when falls risk is a concern.

Practical trial outcomes

A trial can record comfort, walking confidence, usage time, fatigue feedback and practical activity goals, while keeping clinical decisions with the relevant professional team.

Common questions

Does Exo Motion prevent falls?

No device can guarantee fall prevention. Exo Motion can support suitable walking goals, but falls risk must be assessed separately.

Who should assess a fall-risk user?

An OT, physiotherapist, provider or care coordinator should be involved where falls risk is present.

Can documentation be supplied?

Yes. Exo Motion can supply product details, fitting notes and safety guidance for provider review.
