TGA-regulated in Australia

ARTG included as a Class I medical device.

According to current supplier documentation, the powered lower-limb device supplied through Exo Motion is included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods as a Class I medical device. Entry documentation is available to approved clinicians and providers on request.

What this means

ARTG inclusion is the Australian market-authorisation pathway for medical devices. It is not TGA conformity-assessment certification, proof of a particular clinical outcome or automatic AT-HM funding approval. Individual suitability and outcomes vary.

Regulatory and clinical context

Real People. Real Experiences.

Real walking moments with Exo Motion.

Four real movement moments show Bert, aged 90, during his familiar community walk and on the stairs at home, plus indoor walking and an uphill session shared through our official TikTok account. Every person shown could already walk independently. Exo Motion provides assistance rather than restoring lost walking ability, and individual experiences vary.

Bert: his morning route

At 90, Bert wanted to keep moving through his usual community. During this filmed session, he chose to complete the familiar route wearing Exo Motion without relying on his cane.

Bert: stairs at home

Bert negotiates his own stairs while wearing Exo Motion, with the handrail still part of the task. The aim is supported movement without removing sensible safety supports.

Building confidence indoors

A familiar indoor space helps a customer focus on fit, balance and natural steps while assessing powered hip assistance for everyday movement.

Testing support uphill

An incline asks more from the hips and legs. This session lets the wearer assess how powered assistance feels while walking upslope.

Quick answers

Find the right Exo Motion pathway.

Exo Motion provides a guided wearable walking-support service for suitable seniors, independent walkers and families researching help for an older parent. Start with a free Sydney home visit; then consider the A$2,499 purchase, an assessed AT-HM pathway or private senior rental at A$129 per week with a four-week minimum.

Senior Home Visit and Purchase

From a free first conversation to confident ownership.

We help families understand the product before they spend. Start with a free consultation and Sydney home visit, then decide whether direct purchase, private senior rental or an assessed AT-HM pathway makes sense. Private rental is A$129 per week with a four-week minimum. With written consent, Exo Motion can contact your care manager or Support at Home provider, supply product and trial documents, respond to supplier questions and follow up. Assessors and providers still control funding decisions.

We coordinate the paperwork

With your written consent, we liaise with your care manager or provider, send the product documents and quote, and follow up. Funding decisions remain independent.

You give consent. We coordinate the supplier side.

Nominate your care manager or Support at Home provider and give us written consent. We can contact them directly, provide the quotation, specifications, safety information and fitting or trial notes, respond to document requests and follow up on progress. You may still need to share information, attend an assessment or sign forms required by your provider.

If funding is not approved, a private weekly option remains.

A suitable older adult may enquire about private senior rental at A$129 per week with a four-week minimum, making the initial term A$516. Stock, service area, fitting, written rental terms, security arrangements and periodic equipment checks apply. This is separate from the A$129-per-day tourism rental.

How It Works

Wear. Power on. Walk naturally.

Exo Motion is designed to feel simple from the first minute. A trained team member fits the unit, powers it on, and helps each guest take a few natural steps. Built-in AI chips read the guest's walking pattern in real time, then quickly adjust assistance to match their natural walking mode before they head out.

01

Wear

A lightweight support frame is fitted around the waist and legs, adjusted for comfort, and checked before the experience starts.

02

Power on

Smart walking support begins quietly in the background, giving powered movement assistance as the guest starts moving.

03

Walk naturally

Guests walk, climb and explore in their own rhythm, with mobility enhancement that supports longer days out.

Benefits

Less fatigue. More freedom.

Exo Motion is wearable mobility support for real days out: city touring, lookout stairs, scenic trails, hotel guest walks and active travel. It is built around how people feel when movement becomes easier, lighter and more enjoyable.

Our Partners

Clinical and community partners.

Exo Motion works with suitable allied-health, aged-care and community partners so families can assess lower-limb walking support with clearer guidance, documentation and referral pathways.

Allied-health partner

Infinity Allied Healthcare - Chatswood

Infinity Allied Healthcare Chatswood, including its physiotherapy team, has joined the Exo Motion partner network to support patient suitability discussions and referrals for people who may benefit from lower-limb walking assistance.

Chatswood, NSW Physiotherapy Exercise physiology

For suitable patients and families, this creates a practical pathway to discuss Exo Motion Pro alongside walking goals, mobility support needs, gait confidence, fatigue, stairs and everyday movement.

Clinical suitability, treatment advice, funding decisions and patient care remain with the treating clinician, provider or relevant funding pathway. Exo Motion provides product information, fitting guidance and purchase support where appropriate.

Why this matters

A clearer pathway for lower-limb support enquiries.

Many enquiries now come from adult children, families and older Australians asking whether an exoskeleton could help with practical walking support. A named allied-health partner gives those enquiries a more credible next step.

Exo Motion Pro may suit selected users who can already walk independently and want assistance for stairs, gentle slopes, longer walking days and fatigue management. It is not a replacement for therapy, prescribed mobility aids, a walker or a wheelchair.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers for seniors and families.

Who may be suitable for Exo Motion Pro?

It is intended for selected adults who can already walk independently, follow instructions and meet the supported fitting range. It does not provide full body-weight support or replace a prescribed mobility aid.

We discuss goals, check basic product suitability, adjust the belt and straps, guide the first steps and explain charging, controls and limitations. There is no purchase obligation.

How much does Exo Motion Pro cost?

Is the device TGA certified?

The accurate regulatory wording is ARTG included as a Class I medical device, based on current supplier documentation. Class I inclusion is not TGA conformity-assessment certification, proof of a clinical result or automatic funding approval.

Can AT-HM help pay for the device?

Possibly, after assessment and provider approval. With written consent, Exo Motion can supply product documents and liaise with the nominated care manager or provider, but we cannot decide eligibility or guarantee funding.

What if AT-HM funding is not approved?

Can I see real people using Exo Motion?
