The words to take to your care manager.
Ask your care manager about AT-HM List item 12 02 - assistive products for walking, not manipulated by the arms.

The Department's AT-HM list, updated 17 July 2026, contains this category on page 9. The code describes a product category; it is not an Exo Motion product registration, a participant entitlement or a funding amount. The provider and appropriately qualified professional must determine whether the proposed device and supply meet current program requirements and the person's assessed needs.

There must be an assessed need recorded in the support plan. A supplier demonstration or a category match alone is not enough. Use the provider's normal prescription, assessment and ordering processes and check any participant contribution before a purchase is committed.
Who to assess
Start with the person's needs, not the video.
A starting profile for discussion
- An adult who can already walk independently and follow the fitting and operating guidance.
- Height 150-190 cm and weight 40-150 kg, subject to an individual fit and suitability check.
- A specific walking activity the person wants to assess, with an appropriate environment and support.
- A plan for putting the unit on, taking it off, using controls, charging and obtaining help if needed.
- Willingness to keep prescribed aids and clinical advice in place.
When to pause and seek clinical advice
If the person needs full body-weight support, cannot follow instructions, has unexplained changes in walking, significant balance or falls concerns, or finds the fit uncomfortable, do not use a social video as the basis for supply.
This is not a complete contraindication list. The treating professional should review relevant health factors and the current directions for use. Exo Motion does not diagnose, prescribe, provide rehabilitation advice or promise fall prevention.

A useful fitting record
Record the fit, not just the device weight.
The published 1.8 kg figure includes one battery. A low mass does not establish correct positioning, comfort or usefulness for this person. These are non-clinical discussion checkpoints, not a fitting manual or a substitute for an assessment.
Agree the task
Record the person's goal, current aids, relevant professional advice, required support and the agreed reason to stop. Keep prescribed supports in place.
Identify the actual configuration
Record the model and battery setup. Check fit and positioning using the current directions for use; the online height and weight ranges alone do not establish suitability.
Listen and observe
During an appropriate guided demonstration, note reported pressure, rubbing, slipping, comfort and whether assistance feels useful. Stop if pain, instability or an unsuitable fit arises.
Document the next step
Record the wearer's feedback, support needed for setup and controls, unresolved concerns and any referral or refitting needed. A supplier observation is not a prescription or funding decision.
Current manufacturer-approved directions for use must be obtained and reviewed before finalising supply. Exo Motion's public pack does not yet contain that document.

Supplier documentation records ARTG inclusion as a Class I medical device. Inclusion is not TGA endorsement, proof of a clinical outcome or AT-HM approval. Request the current regulatory documents and directions for use when completing the provider's supplier checks.

In stock. Delivery within three business days after order confirmation. Confirm delivery, fitting and training arrangements for the actual address before ordering, especially outside the eligible Sydney home-visit area. The free eligible Sydney demonstration is separate from paid delivery of a purchased unit.
This is a published budget summary, not a personalised quote, tax invoice, prescription or funding commitment. Ask for a written quote identifying the model, quantity, delivery location, inclusions, tax treatment, quote validity and invoice recipient. Any assessment or provider administration charges should be identified separately by the relevant provider.

From interest to an individual decision.
Confirm consent and the goal
Record who is requesting the discussion, the participant's consent and the activity they want support with. Check the support plan and current AT-HM status.
Arrange the appropriate assessment
The treating professional and provider determine suitability and the prescription or evidence needed. A participant can use their own appropriately qualified clinician; no referral to Exo Motion's partner is required.
Review the product and supplier file
Use the specification summary, current directions for use, an itemised quote and requested regulatory and insurance documents. If a demonstration is appropriate, record practical observations and limitations, not just a positive impression.
Record the funding and contribution decision
The responsible provider confirms the permitted pathway, budget, any participant contribution and ordering authority. If funding is essential, obtain written approval before ordering; do not assume a private purchase will later be reimbursed.
Order, fit and follow up
Agree delivery and training, keep the model and serial number in the relevant records and set a support contact. Report concerns through the provider's usual process and stop use where safety is uncertain.
With written consent, Exo Motion can supply product information and liaise with the nominated provider about the quote, fitting and supplier paperwork. We do not make the participant's clinical or funding decisions, and the provider retains responsibility for its program obligations.
Written supplier support
Request a quote or current documents.
Use this form for an NDIS or Support at Home AT-HM supplier quote. In your message, tell us which pathway you are discussing and whether you need pricing, documents or fitting information. Do not include participant numbers, medical records or full plans. This sends an enquiry to Exo Motion, not a funding application.
The public downloads are available without giving us your details. Use this form when you need a written response from Exo Motion at info@exomotion.com.au. A request is an enquiry, not a government funding application.

Care-manager questions.
Does code 12 02 mean Exo Motion Pro is automatically funded?
No. It identifies an AT-HM product category, not an approval of a particular brand or an entitlement for an individual. The responsible provider and appropriately qualified professional must check the product, assessed need, support plan and current program requirements.
Is a prescription required for category 12 02?
The official AT-HM list updated 17 July 2026 labels category 12 02 as Prescribed (recommended). The provider must still determine the professional input and evidence needed for the individual supply. This page is supplier information, not a prescription or funding approval.
Are the manufacturer directions for use included?
No. A current manufacturer-approved directions-for-use document and approved specification sheet have not yet been supplied for this public pack. The downloadable facts are an Exo Motion supplier summary. The provider should obtain and check the current directions for use and relevant product documents before finalising supply.
Can the participant use their own physiotherapist or occupational therapist?
Yes. The clinician should work within their scope of practice and the provider should confirm the assessment requirements. A referral to Exo Motion's allied-health partner is not compulsory. A demonstration does not replace an independent clinical assessment.
Can we begin by email rather than calling?
Yes. Download the public supplier summary and quote-request template, then use the document request form or email info@exomotion.com.au. Do not send diagnoses, medical records or funding identifiers through the public form. Agree a suitable channel and consent before sharing necessary personal information.
Does sending this form start a government funding application?
No. It sends a supplier enquiry to Exo Motion. The provider manages its own assessment and funding process. Website visits, copied messages, downloads and enquiries must not be described as approved applications or funding outcomes.
