Is the Exo Motion home visit really free?

Yes. The consultation, eligible Sydney home visit, basic suitability discussion, fitting, short guided trial and training are free, subject to location and appointment availability. There is no purchase obligation.

What is the Australian regulatory status of Exo Motion Pro?

Current supplier documentation records the underlying powered lower-limb device as included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods as a Class I medical device. This is not TGA conformity-assessment certification, proof of a clinical outcome or automatic funding approval.

Does Exo Motion include a warranty?

Purchase includes a 12-month warranty subject to its written terms. This warranty is in addition to rights and remedies that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law.

Is AT-HM funding guaranteed?

No. Eligibility, approval, funding allocation, timing and participant contributions depend on the person's aged-care assessment and provider process. With written consent, Exo Motion can contact the nominated care manager or Support at Home provider, coordinate product information, fitting notes and the quotation, and follow up.

Free consultation

We ask about the intended user's walking ability, goals, height, weight, home environment and any professional support already involved.

Free home visit

In eligible Sydney areas, we bring the unit to the home and complete a basic non-clinical suitability and fitting check.

Free fitting and training

We adjust the belt and leg straps, explain the controls and guide a short walking trial in a familiar environment.

We talk through comfort, intended activities, support needs and what the device will not replace. Individual experience varies.

Basic suitability

Who can try Exo Motion?

The online pathway is designed for selected adults who can already walk independently and want powered hip assistance while walking.

Able to understand and follow fitting and operating guidance

Suitable home or community area for a guided trial

Exo Motion does not replace a prescribed walking aid, wheelchair, clinical care, therapy or supervision. Falls, balance, neurological, cardiac or other health concerns should be discussed with an appropriate clinician before use.

AT-HM and Support at Home

You give consent. We coordinate the supplier paperwork.

Nominate your care manager or Support at Home provider and give Exo Motion written consent. We can contact them directly, provide specifications, fitting or trial notes, safety information and a written quotation, respond to supplier questions and follow up. Your provider remains responsible for assessment, arranging and sourcing the item and any government submission. You may still need to provide information, attend an assessment or sign provider forms.

What is the difference between the free visit and the A$129 rental?

The free visit is a guided first experience with Exo Motion present for fitting and training. The A$129 option is an optional extended rental day, subject to booking, payment, deposit pre-authorisation, suitability and rental terms.

What is included in the A$2,499 purchase price?

The purchase price is A$2,499. We provide a written quotation and confirm the product, fitting, delivery, warranty and applicable terms before purchase.

Is the product free under AT-HM?

Not automatically. AT-HM is an assessed pathway for eligible Support at Home participants. With written consent, Exo Motion can liaise with the nominated care manager or provider, coordinate product-side paperwork and follow up.
